Stories are how humans learn and grow, so telling them correctly is a skill that could very well change someone's life.
With over 15 years of experience as a full-time ghostwriter and editor, I've been helping people turn words into art, something that has become much harder in the age of rapid-release “content.” Here, we focus on the stories told to us and the ones we tell ourselves—why they’re important and how they inform our culture.
I sometimes reflect on my experiences or thoughts on current events, usually on sex, relationships, and gender discourse. And of course when I see a movie or tv show that stirs my soul, you will get to hear about why you should experience it as well.

At seventeen, I had two choices: join a convent or the Marines. The mother superior—herself a veteran—strongly recommended the Marines. Good call, because if you've read even one page of my work, you know the quiet contemplative life isn't exactly my style.
After an injury cut my service short, I traded combat boots for college, earning degrees in English and curriculum design. But what I really wanted to do was write the kind of stories I couldn't find on bookstore shelves—fiction about ordinary people whose lives get turned upside down when they discover something impossible lurking just beneath the surface of reality.
The Mason Timeline series is my dystopian time travel saga. When humans think they can "fix" history and remake the world in their image, everything goes catastrophically wrong. Straddling the lines of historical fiction, alternate history, and dystopia, the series is three books in, with the final installment in progress.
The Siren Song trilogy is my paranormal mystery series, one that takes a fresh look at witchcraft and what happens when it's an unbalanced teen boy who gets his hands on it.
Most recently, The Twitter Crush is a psychological thriller that that looks at internet culture and how it both hides and reveals who people truly are.
I write about regular people who find themselves in weird circumstances and sometimes with too much rebel in them. I'm a big believer in digital ownership, so in addition to the retailers, all my ebooks are available, DRM free, in my shop.
Beyond fiction, I also run The Nonsense-Free Editor, helping independent authors publish work that doesn't fit traditional publishing's preferences. This experience—reading thousands of manuscripts, studying what works and what doesn't—makes me a better storyteller.
I live in Kansas City, drink too much coffee, and believe the best stories make you feel something real—whether that's rage, hope, fear, or the satisfaction of watching someone fight back against impossible odds.
